Starting from the idea of ​​landscape developed in a thesis entitled 'Writing of self-landscape', defended in 2014 at PPGAV UFRJ by research artist Paula Scamparini, we investigated, under her guidance, possible approaches, relationships, collective processes and artistic practices based on the word- sparkle-idea Ecology.

 

Currently, this line of research develops mainly in a laboratory-class conducted by the teacher within the scope of the Visual Arts / Sculpture UFRJ course, besides  developing at GAE meetings, when the group's research lines are crossed.

 

The laboratory-class is organized in theoretical-practical meetings and has a research and experimentation bias. The activities start from the proposition of thinking about ecosystems and, observable, projectable and imaginable human ecologies.

 

The group of students is organized as an ephemeral collective and shares process and knowledges during the period. Many of the contents introduced in class have already gone through the study of the GAE members or pass to become part of the group's repertoire a posteriori.

 

The course is open to students enrolled in any UFRJ course, and can receive listeners interested in getting closer to GAE.
